ProFire deliver a successful BAI course to diverse group of delegates.

INTRO

ProFire have delivered another successful Breathing Apparatus Instructor Course through their partnership with Newcastle Airport; the course was well attended with a diverse group of delegates from both UK fire and rescue services and airport fire services. Our 8 day course is Skills for Justice Awards accredited and comes highly recommended judging by the feedback we have received from some very happy customers.

INSTRUCTOR PEDIGREE

The BAI is a staple of our annual calendar for fire fighting courses and we have vast experience of running it; our focus on instructors to delegate numbers and individual assistance means we have a 100% pass rate for delegates attending the course. Our instructors also come very well qualified; they all hold a BA (Hons) in Education and Training which underpins the accumulated years of Fire and Rescue training design and delivery experience. The latest course, run in May 2022 at the airport site was led by Colin Bowman, an extremely experienced Breathing Apparatus Instructor who along with vast fire and rescue service experience also has experience of corporate emergency response and delivering training overseas in multicultural environments.

FACILITIES

The delegates on the latest BAI course delivered at the Newcastle Airport Academy were able to benefit from an enhanced level of inter service knowledge sharing between Airport FRS and Local Authority. Having fire fighters from different operational backgrounds on the course was beneficial to both sets with many useful take-aways in relation to training delivery and procedural points being picked up. The delegates enjoyed the facilities on offer at the airport whether they were undertaking syndicated exercises on the fire training ground or attending lectures in the classroom.
